Appearing out of place on a busy shopping street is this quaint music store. No afternoon in Daikanyama is complete without a quick browse through this small shop, accompanied by the soundtrack of the creaky wooden floor and staff-selected albums (which are always available in-store) being played over the sound system.
Despite its name, Bonjour Records' main draw are CDs - focusing its selection primarily on foreign electronic/hip-hop/pop artists and drawing heavily from Kitsune and Colette releases.
In addition to music, the shop also carries a collection of foreign magazines and books relating to culture, as well as a small selection of clothing which includes pieces from their own label. The store also houses a small coffee bar, giving you one more good reason to linger and draw out your time there just a little bit longer.
